Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Cross, on September 29, 1996, and her sister, Alice Trip. She was a schoolteacher in Lewiston & Atlanta for many years, and was formerly a deputy county treasurer in Montmorency County.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynda Utt; grandsons & spouses, Dave & Vicki (Schroeder) Utt, Atlanta, and Ron & Lisa Utt, Weidman, MI; granddaughter & her husband, Sandra & Scott Amble, Brimley, MI; brothers & their spouses, Oral & Sis McMurphy, Ervin & Eileen McMurphy, Jack & Cena McMurphy, all of Atlanta, and Doug & Cleo McMurphy, West Branch, MI; sisters, Hazel & her husband, Bud Teets, Atlanta, and Gladys Meston, South Haven, MI.
She requested cremation, and interment followed funeral services conducted on Friday, May 4, 2007, Rev. Dr. H. Robert Case, presided.
