Frank C. McCauley

Frank Clair McCauley, 88, of Parkersburg went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at the Ohio Valley Health Care, Nicolett Road, Parkersburg.

He was born Sept. 1, 1917, at Hemlock, Jackson County, W.Va., a son of the late Albert Maywood and Flora Elizabeth Lane McCauley.

Frank was a 1937 graduate of Parkersburg High School. He assisted in the installation of the electrical system at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and owned and operated McCauley Upholstery Shop for 45 years. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Parkersburg.

He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn L. Blanco of Parkersburg, Connie Whipple of Cadet, Mo., and Claudia Pasturzak of Otway, Ohio; special companion, Naomi Deem of Parkersburg; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Munns; second wife, Dorthy Sites; third wife, Margretta Weekley; one daughter, Joy Wucher; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Marie; and four brothers.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Donald Matheny officiating. Services will conclude with burial in the Ravenswood Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
