Mrs. Ethel Adcock, 69, of Milan, Ill., Died at Oak Glen Home there at 1 p.m. Friday. She had lived in Ottumwa all of her life until her health failed three years ago and she moved to Milan.
She was born Nov. 24, 1907, in Ottumwa to Benjamin and Nancy Scott Simmer and attended Ottumwa public schools.
She married John F. Adcock Aug. 27, 1927, in Bloomfield.
Surviving are a son, Eldon; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Slycord of Milan; a grandson and a great-granddaugher; and three brothers, Kenneth, Russell and Cecil, all of Ottumwa.
Graveside funeral rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Agency Cemetery. Visitation may be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Larson Funeral Home, Milan. Ill.
