Services for Jean M. Bowen Begley, 65, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 4:21 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 16, 1942, in Fulton County, the daughter of Merl and Maxine Rans Kistler. She was married May 29, 1993 in Logansport to Ed Begley, who survives.

She retired from Wilson Foods.

Jean was a graduate of Fulton High School in 1961. She enjoyed baby-sitting, and all of her children loved her as much as she loved them. Jean also enjoyed cooking and shopping with her best friend, Judy.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Michael D. Bowen, Logansport; a daughter, Kristine Brantley and husband Mike, Galveston; a brother, Joe Kistler and wife Sandy, Camden; two granddaughters, Trista Hayden and husband Andy, Logansport, and Britteny Brantley, Galveston; three grandsons, Brian Bowen, Logansport, Caleb Bowen, Royal Center, and Blake Brantley, Galveston; and a great-grandson, Kolby Hayden, Logansport.

A brother, Howard "Bub" Kistler, preceded in death.

Rev. Richard Kistler will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery in Fulton.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Crippled Children.
