Linda Lou Fluharty, age 84, of Mannington, WV passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Mapleshire Nursing Home in Morgantown. She was born July 2, 1936, a daughter of the late Forrest Hood Hatfield and Elsie Murl Edgell Hatfield.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Meral Fluharty, of Mannington to whom she had been married to for 64 years; a daughter Lisa Morris of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer) Morris of Monrovia, MD, Ashley (Lesa Yoho) Morris of Fairmont, and Eric (Kelsey) Morris of Little River, SC; five great-grandchildren, Halle and Cash Morris, children of Eric and Kelsey, Brieann and Lincoln Morris and Jalen Partida, children of Ryan and Jennifer; his sister Nancy (Robert) McLaughlin of Mannington; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Hatfield of Mannington; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her 5 siblings, Jack Hatfield, Alan Hatfield, Clayton Hatfield, Harlan Ross Hatfield and Wanda Patterson.

Linda was a loving wife and mother who loved her family, friends and neighbors. She loved crafts and quilting, playing the piano, working puzzles, attending family dinners, and traveling with her husband. She also loved her grandchildren and enjoyed time with her great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 6-8:00 pm where the casket will remain closed. Anyone attending graveside services are being asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 am on Monday, December 21, 2020 as we are leaving at 10:00 am for services at West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton beginning at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. As we continue to recognize attending services during the Covid-19 situation may not be in the best interest for some, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Masks are now required for in-person attendance.
