Donald P. Koeser, age 78, of 2321 14th St., Two Rivers, currently residing at Hamilton Home, died Saturday, November 23, 1996, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.

A Memorial Service will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 1996, at Emanuel United Methodist Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Isidro Carrera. Cremation will have taken place and burial of the cremains will be at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.

He was born August 28, 1918, in Two Rivers, son of the late Silas and Emma Theide Koeser. Donald was a member of the Army Air Corp serving during World War II. On October 7, 1944, he married the former Kathryn Andrews in Two Rivers, and she preceded him in death November 11, 1996. Donald was a cabinet finisher employed for 40 years at Hamilton Manufacturing until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the Meister Singers, active in many Emanuel United Methodist Church groups, including choir, quartet and teaching Sunday School.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Keith and Edith Koeser, Two Rivers; Reid Koeser, Pampano Beach, Fla., Donald and Julie Koeser, Two Rivers; four grandchildren, Kristin, Andrew, Casey and Kaelyn Koeser; one sister, Phyllis Lahey, Two Rivers. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Anna Koeser, Two Rivers, June Koeser, Elgin, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lloyd, William, Harold and Silas, and three sisters, Thelma LaFond, Lois Green and Mildred Lonzo.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the church Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until the time of service.

Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
