Bob lived in Illinois prior to 1951. Bob and Betty had two children, Dick and Tom.
Bob worked for Consumers Power Company, including the Campbell plant near Grand Haven. He and Betty lived in West Olive at that time. After he retired he was able to spend more time with a passion he had of working with wood and metal projects. He had great craftsmanship skills.

He made lots of yard signs and also enjoyed creating objects that were humorous. One item I still have is a airplane meant to hang outside made of beer cans.

Bob had a wonderful sense of humor and it was a joy to visit with both Bob and his wife Betty. Bob was a real "people" person. He loved visiting with folks and sharing a meal together.
Bob adored his wife Betty. They spent most of their final years in Scottsville, MI. They had a cute little home out in the country. They had a large window in the kitchen and you could sit with your coffee visiting and watch the birds come to the feeder. Bob passed away at the age of 84, at Mercy Hospital, Muskegon.
