Sharon was the Wife of Contributor/Photographer of Find A Grave.com'(s) "Sandman". She is the Mother of Michele Lee C***, of Texas; And the Daughter of Steve (Deceased) & Aldene (Rush) Malesick of Canonsburg, Pa. Sharon had a wonderful, bubbly personality. She worked in the retail business for 35 years; After 5 different chain stores,(Bobbby Brooks, Grants, K-Mart, Hills, & Dollar Tree,) she finally achieved a managerial position. Even after 1996, she tried out new job ventures at Kolh's Dept. Store, & had a short-lived stint as a phone-service rep for a major banking corporation in our area. Sharon had many, many friends. She was a Woman with a "touch" of class, she had a lot of pride in herself, and was a very confident woman. And at the same time, she was a very "down to earth" person. Her Daughter, Michele, was the pride & joy of her life; Her 2 cat's were second in life, (I rank in there somewhere.) She LOVED music, & enjoyed reading to the same extent. She loved our home with a great passion. She was an excellent cook & a great baker. (But she would be the first to admit that she couldn't bake a decent pie.) For the last three years of her life, I watched the transformation of her body from the effects of colon cancer. But her loveable personality remained the same, up until morepheine placed her into a deep sleep. She didn't know us anymore, physically. but she sent us signs that she comprehended us. I would whisper in her ear, then a few seconds later, she would squeeze my hand. Sharon spent the last week of her life at The Donnell House, in Washington, Pa.; A beautiful facility for terminally ill patients. The morning of Saturday, September 25,
2004, was very warm at 11:05, and for a very good reason; Sharon's life had ended. That event occurred while I was on my way to see her. She was 58. Michele called me & said, "She's changing". I was about 5 minutes too late...But the following five minutes are ones I will never forget for the rest of my life...
Michele spent very few hours away from her Mom the last 23 days of her life. She witnessed her last breath; I did not. And I'm OK with that. However, (fortunately) I was
able to spend 16 hours a day with Shar for the last 5 monthsof her life.
Shar & I took very good care of each other. We had both been "around the block", in life...We were VERY honest with each other, & we COMMUNICATED about every facet in our life together; All of the above, and in addition; We had a hell of a lot of fun together...

"Letting go" of this girl has been extremely difficult for me;
Finding a Woman like this is once in a lifetime.....
There will only be "One Shar".

Shar, I will Love You for the rest of my life; You were
and had the biggest impact upon my life as I know it;
And I can never, ever forget You.......
Thank's Babe,.....Don.........
