Shell K. Davis, 61 of East Liverpool passed at the Valley Oaks Care Center in East Liverpool on Saturday, December 19, 2020, following a difficult year and a half long battle with cancer.
A son of James Davis and Harriett Van Meter Murray, he was born in East Liverpool on September 12, 1959.
Shell held several jobs at the Ponderosa Restaurant in Calcutta, mainly as a cook. He was an accomplished drummer and a 1977 graduate of East Liverpool High School. Also, he was a member of the Potters Club in East Liverpool, and he was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Dale Earnhart fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Randall Roach.
Surviving is his adopted grandchildren, Grady, and Collin Reed, as well as several close friends and family members.
Pastor Dirk Hall will celebrate Shell’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, December 22, at 6:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit with the family two hours prior to the service, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. 12-20-2020
