Jean Weesner Bearden was born June 29, 1928 and entered eternal life on December 20, 2020. She was 92 years old.

A private graveside service will be held at Resthaven Cemetery in Jacksonville. Rev. Barbara Hugghins will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Friends are welcome to come by the funeral home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 to view and sign the register book.

Jean was named 2010 Business Women of the Year.

Jean was a beautiful soul inside and out.

She was happiest when she was working, cooking, creating things beautiful and being surrounded by family and friends.

She was inspiration to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Grady and Susie (Bristow) Weesner; her beloved husband, J.D. Bearden; and two sisters, Inez Starkey and Jo Trantham.

Left to cherish her Jean’s memory are her daughters, Paula Jones of Jacksonville and Patti Blakely of Plano; grandchildren, Raleigh Blakely III, and Carrie and Nick Daugherty; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Kylie Daugherty; and nieces, Suzanne Starkey Townsend and husband David and Kay Starkey.
