"Mrs. Elizabeth M. Berardino of 1312 Seymour Ave., widow of Sam M. Berardino, died Sunday in St. Luke's-Memorial Hospital Center after a long illness. She was born in Napes, Italy. In 1921 she was married to Mr. Berardino in Naples. She came to Utica after her marriage and had lived here since 1921. Mr. Berardino died in 1963. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church and St. Anne's Grandmothers Club. She leaves a daughter, Miss Josephine Berardino, of Utica, and two sons, Emilio J. of Utica and Sam F. of New Hartford; a brother Angelo DiRonza in Naples, Italy. The funeral will be at 9:15 Thursday from the Quinn, Ryan and Nunn Funeral Home and at 10 from St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
