Patricia M. Abler, 83, formerly of Mt. Calvary, and later of Wauwatosa, died Thursday, October 4, 2007, at the Menomonee Falls Health Care Center where she had been a resident for the past month.

She was born June 9, 1924, in Mt. Calvary, the daughter of Mathias N. and Anna Bleuel Abler. She attended Holy Cross Grade School in Mt. Calvary, and the Fond du Lac Vocational School. Patricia was a dental assistant in Fond du Lac for several years, and later moved to Milwaukee and worked at the Marquette Dental School on staff as an X-ray technician for over 30 years. She loved to travel, do crossword puzzles, gourmet cooking, and will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

Surviving are two sisters, Cordula Wagner and Genevieve Abler, both of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nephews.

Her parents, two sisters, Lucy Mertens and Camilla Casper, and seven brothers, Herbert, Norman, Ambrose (Ceil), Harold (Esther), Alex, Ralph (Germaine), and Lawrence Abler, preceded her in death.
