December 15, 1930 ~ December 21, 2020 (age 90)
Carolyn R. Julian, age 90, of Council Grove, passed away December 21, 2020 at the Morris County Hospital.
She was born December 15, 1930 in Council Grove, KS, daughter of Floyd and Ruth Logue White. She graduated from Council Grove High School in 1948.
Carolyn worked at the Medical Center for several years. She enjoyed baking (she was very well known for her pies), quilting, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Carolyn married Bob Brown and to that union, they had 2 children: Carol and John. After the death of Bob, Carolyn married Newell (Beaver) Julian November 25, 1960. To that union, they had 2 children: Sara and Neil.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, son John, daughter Sara and Carol, brothers Floyd, Jr and Don, and sisters Dorothy and Betty.
Carolyn is survived by her son Neil Julian and wife Debbie; grandchildren: Sara Engel (Kasey), Thad Julian (Amanda) and Bobby Brown. Great-grandchildren: Jason, Jerrel, Rilynn, Conner, Jett and Kynlee; and brother Ted White.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church and sent in care of Sawyer Funeral Home, PO Box 273, Council Grove, KS 66846.
