Mrs. Margaret Fales Coggin, of 9105 Sudley Rd., Manassas, Va., died Thursday in Dors Hospital after an extended illness.
She was a native of Wilmington and was the daughter of Mrs. Pear Hall Fales and the late Carl L. Fales.
Mrs. Coggin taught school in the Music Department of Prince William County School System and was organist and choir director in the Manassas Baptist Church.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, James D. Coggin of the home; two daughters, Miss Amy Allison Coggin of the home and Mrs. Vici Coggin Long and son-in-law, Tom Long, of Bost, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Houck of Falls Church, Va., and one brother, Carl Lynn Fales of Newport News, Va.
There will be a memorial service Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Layman officiating
