Edith J. Hofslund, age 84, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on December 23, 2020.

Edith was born on July 14, 1936 in Two Rivers to the late Everitt and Harriet (Stanislavek) Hofslund. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1954. Edith had worked as a Special Processing Technologist at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed spending her time bowling and line dancing. Edith was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and a former member of the St. Clare Society.

Survivors include Edith’s three sisters, her twin sister Judy Lavicka, Manitowoc; Mary Lou Emme, Manitowoc; and Barbara (Richard) Dumke, Sun Prairie; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everitt and Harriet Hofslund; sister, Joann Brandt; two brothers-in-law, David Brandt, Ronald Emme, and Joseph Lavicka.

Private family funeral services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. The Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated by Rev. Jason Blahnik with entombment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. Edith’s family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Hiebert and also all of the staff of River’s Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center for all of the care they provided.
