She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Brooks.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters, Cynthia Daughtry and Pamela Henley; one devoted granddaughter, Lakeshia Tinsley; a host of other relatives and friends.
Remains rested at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Avenue, where viewing was held on Thursday, October 4, 2007, from 9am to 8pm. Funeral service was held at 12 noon on Friday, October 5, 2007, at First Union Baptist Church, 6231 Pole Green Road. Rev. Dexter Cannon officiated. Interment First Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
