Mae Louise (Wininger) Snellenbarger, age 90, of rural Wingate, passed away at 8:50 PM on Monday, December 28, 2020 in The Lane House in Crawfordsville. She was born in Martin County, IN to the late Earl and Agnes (Collins) Wininger. She married Joseph Snellenbarger in Crawfordsville on December 2, 1949 and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2020.

Mae was a 1947 graduate of New Market High School. She had been employed by the General Telephone Directory Office and as a bookkeeper at the Wingate Garage, operated by her husband. She was a member of New Hope Chapel in Wingate. She was a loving grandmother/great-grandmother and enjoyed watching them participate in school and sports activities. She enjoyed baking and everyone loved her cinnamon rolls, which she even taught her brother Bill to make.

Surviving are three sons; one brother; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Doretha Kay Myers; and a brother, Dean Wininger.

Private visitation will be held at Family and Friends Funeral Home in Wingate. Public graveside service will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery North with Pastor Duane Mycroft officiating.
