He is survived by wife, Jean Bartlett, Jackson; children, Tamie Morgan, McDonough, Walter "Bart" Bartlett, Jackson, Tracy Bartlett, Jackson; brothers, Ronald Steele, Brooks, Tim Bartlett, Macon; sisters, Dorothy Spradlin, Ringgold, Irene Wyatt, Gainesville, Norma Garmon, Gainesville, Jo Leigh, Milledgeville, Marie Smallwood, Macon, Tommie Ruth James, McDonough, Louise Kraft, Jonesboro, and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 1999 in the chapel of Fort-Stewart Funeral Home, with Rev. Roy Hardy and Rev. Randall Garmon officiating. Interment, Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Fort-Stewart Funeral Home, Jonesboro/Stockbridge.
