Minnie Frances Staggs, 68, of Ward passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was born February 19, 1952 in Dover to the late John H. and Tealie J. Henson Carrier. She was a homemaker and had been a member of New Horizons Baptist Church since 2008. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Staggs was preceded in death by her husband, Tony L. Staggs; son, Terry Wayne Brazier; grandson, Jack Thomas Westbrook; sisters, Saluda Mae Hooks and Martha Holland; and brothers, John Carrier, Jr. and William Carrier.

Mrs. Staggs is survived by her children; John Jefferson (Jennifer), David Staggs (Shakona) and Kim Naylor (Angie); grandchildren, Christopher John Jefferson, Jason Wayne Jefferson, Skylar Hefner, Liz Hefner, David Staggs, Jr., Bailey Staggs, Sawyer Staggs, Creed Staggs, Myka Krenn, Trenton Krenn, Noah Naylor, Zachory Naylor, Meghan Naylor and Frankie Naylor; great grandchildren, Destin, Jaslyn, Aliana, Anna Lee, Katherine, Kallen, Knox and Walter; brothers, Junior and Herbert Carrier as well as several nieces and nephews she and Tony helped raise and many friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in the chapel of Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home with Brother Kevin Bernard officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in McRae. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home (501)843-5816.
