Two Rivers - Janice M. Klein, age 92, lifetime resident of Two Rivers, died peacefully at home on Tuesday morning, December 22, 2020, with her daughter at her side.
Janice was born in Two Rivers on February 24, 1928 to Julius C. and Irma (Schultz) Althen. She was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers with the class of 1946, and on February 3rd, 1951 married William R. Klein in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2009. Janice worked in the offices of Paragon Electric for many years and later at Montgomery Wards. She was a lifetime member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.
Janice greatly enjoyed the performing arts & theater, and attended many concerts, plays, ballets and dance. She was a very talented seamstress, who enjoyed sewing, knitting, and doing cross-stitch; and will be remembered as a wonderful wife and mother.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Klein of Two Rivers; one son & daughter-in-law, Scott and Roxanne Klein of San Jose, California; and one granddaughter, Alisha Klein.
Private funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels of Two Rivers officiated by Rev. David Arndt. Burial was held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
