He is survived by his wife Norma of 65 years and his many descendants in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Marden moved to Citrus Heights from Los Angeles just before junior high school whereupon he attended Sylvan Junior High and graduated from San Juan High School where he met Norma. After retiring, he volunteered as a Range Master for the Lincoln Rifle Club and as a semi driver for Senior Gleaners. Marden enjoyed horseback riding, small gas engines, bluegrass, and competitive shooting. He was also a mine and train enthusiast.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kaiser Roseville Hospital for the care and compassion given in caring for Marden especially Station 1 North. Arrangements are private, and no services are planned.
