MANSFIELD: Arthur William Shores passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from OhioHealth Mansfield. He was 91.

He was born September 8, 1929 in Clintwood, Virginia to parents Arthur and Pearl (Vanover) Shores.

Arthur worked at Ohio Brass as a factory worker for 39 years until retiring in 1990. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed gardening and canning. He took pride in playing the mandolin and enjoyed listening to bluegrass music. He was a humble man who appreciated the things he had.

He is survived by his daughter Melinda L. Spayde; grandchildren Danny (Lori) Spayde, Jill (Glenn) Cline, Jimi (Suzanne) Shores and Madeline Rome; many great-grandchildren and extended family; special niece Brenda Crider.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Gloria (Beeler) Shores; sons Steven Shores and Marvin Shores and all of his siblings.

His family will receive friends 11 am – 12 pm Monday, January 4, 2021 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring his life will begin promptly at 12 pm. Pastor TJ Waters will officiate
