Roberta Marie "Bobbie" Lankford, 69, of Galesburg and formerly of Abingdon, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

Born Jan. 11, 1936, in Bushnell to Andrew and Bertha Faler Day, she married Robert Cozad. She later married Kenneth "Bud" Lankford on Nov. 23, 1974, in Galesburg. He died March 2, 1991.

She also was preceded in death by her father.

Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Ronald Burgess of Abingdon; three daughters, Vickie Edwards and Christine (and Bjorn) Ericson, both of Galesburg, and Deborah (and Steven) Rehn of Plano, Texas; three sisters, her twin, Alberta "Maggie (and Leanelle) Hanson of Knoxville, Gloria Ratajczak of Abingdon and Vonneda Johnson of Bushnell; and two brothers, James (and Norma) Day of Galesburg and Samuel Burgess of Abingdon.

An interior decorator, she owned and operated Abingdon Upholstery and Creative Upholstery in Galesburg. She was a member and past president of the Professional Business Women in Abingdon.

She was a member of Jubilee Christian Center in Austin, Texas, where she was one of the leaders of the children ministry.

Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.
