Throughout her life, Mrs. Hough resided in Laclede County, with the exception of a few years during her childhood when she lived in Oklahoma.
On June 30, 1909, Ella married Homer Dee Hough in Lebanon. They raised their five children in Lebanon, Missouri.
There children were:
Aude Arval Hough (1911-1969)
Sylvia "Flo" Hough Bell (1913-1947)
Glennis Bell Hough Crane (1915-1986)
Thomas Laverne "Tommy" Hough (1922-1986)
Jo Ann Hough Clemmons (1927-2005)
Both Mr. and Mrs. Hough were devoted members of the First Baptist Church of Lebanon for many years.
After a brief illness, Ella passed away on Monday, January 23, 1965, at Wallace Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri.
