Diane is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer N. Lipsey Ponce and wife, Angelica Ponce, of McGregor, and Syndi Lipsey Espinosa and husband, Ronnie Vera, of Temple; brother, Gaylon Denney, and partner, James "Tony" Roy of Galveston; grandchildren, Aaliyah Lipsey of McGregor, and Christopher Espinosa of Waco; and many beloved extended family and friends.
Diane graduated from University High School in 1974 and went on to earn her nursing degree from McLennan Community College. She worked for Providence Hospital and local nursing homes for over 20 years.
A memorial to celebrate Diane's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at Waco Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank the staff, nurses, and physicians of Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Medical Center, Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospice, McClinton Cancer Center, and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice: The Humane Society of Central Texas; Fuzzy Friends Rescue (LaVega Clinic in Waco); Central Texas Lost and Found Pets; or Westie and Scottie Rescue of Houston.
