He was born on December 15, 1962, in Pekin to Richard "Dick" and Sandra (Dagit) Scotti. Greg married Jill Colgan on April 25, 1987, in Pekin. She survives, along with four children, Tori M., Jenna N., Trenton A., and Jonathan N.; three brothers, James "Jim" (Barb), Brian and Rick (Melissa); and one sister, Christine "Christy" (Tom) Bresnahan.
Greg enjoyed classic rock music, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Minnesota Vikings, his 1970 Monte Carlo, and antique collections. He also enjoyed grilling with friends, watching movies and taking trips with his boys. He had a brilliant and creative mind and was extremely handy. He was also employed at Caterpillar for nearly 20 years.
He loved spending time with his boys, working on their vehicles, and was proud of Jenna's nursing and Tori's military service. Furthermore, he loved his wife, Jill, unconditionally, every day of his life and centered everything he did around her.
