A private family service for Sarah Deane Brown Essary, 84 of Corinth, Mississippi, will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Kendall Frazier and Mike Kuykendall will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South.

Mrs. Essary passed away Monday, December 28, 2020, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born March 21, 1936, in Corinth, Mississippi, to Clarence Essary and Myrtle Presley Essary. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family, friends, cooking and gardening.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 21 years, Delphus Essary of Corinth, MS; her daughters, Karen McDonald and husband Chad of Collierville, TN and Sharon Emmons and husband Jeff of Michie, TN; 4 grandchildren, Chase P. McDonald, Madison P. McDonald, Hannah Stewart (Kevin) and Levi Emmons; her great-grandson, Kason Stewart; stepson, Tracy Scott Essary and wife Lisa of Kossuth, MS; step-grandchildren, T.J. Essary, Lacy Lindsey (Cory) and Dusty Essary (Charla); her sister, Beth Bragg of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons, David Ray Brown and Lamon Brown; her first dhusband and father of her children, Roy Ray Brown; her father, Clarence Essary; her mother, Myrtle Presley; her sisters, Faye Frazier (Dannie) and Betty Kuykendall (Grady) of Rienzi, MS; and her brother-in-law, Vance Bragg.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Kuykendall, Mike Kuykendall, Tracy Scott Essary, Freddy Mathis, and Bryan Odle.
