Prior to her retirement, Dee was employed as a security guard with Staley's in Morrisville for many years. Known as a socialite, Dee absolutely loved talking with people. Wherever she went, she surrounded herself with many friends and acquaintances. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, and felt very comfortable wearing her fine clothing and jewelry.
Dee is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her longtime friend Joan Nicol of East McKeesport, PA and many nieces and nephews. Dee was the sister of the late Donald Dixon of Bath, Maine, Glen Dixon of Miami Florida, Harry "Butch" Dixon of Ormond Beach Florida, and Clayton Dixon of Knoxville, Tennessee.
