Marie had a fulfilling life on the farm because of her love of animals, especially her cats. She was a longtime member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills and member of their Rosary Society. She enjoyed painting, repainting the Nativity Statues at the parish and painted black and white photos into color photos.
