Theodore Bauer, Germantown Grocer Dies
Theodore Bauer, 86, died Thursday, July 8, in a Hillsboro nursing home after a long illness. He had owned and operated a general store in Germantown for many years, before his retirement.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic church, where funeral services were held Saturday at 9:30. The Gant Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
Survivors are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ray [Helen Mohelnitzky] Peters, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Anton [Merie Mohelnitzky] Blau, Fond du Lac; two brothers, Hubert and Arnold, both of Cazenovia; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Esther [Escher] and Mrs. Gertrude Walsh, Cazenovia, and Mrs. Margaret Honer of Ithaca.
