Cheryl R. Braaten, 54, of 320 31st St. N.E., a homemaker, died Thursday (March 16, 1995) at her home after a long illness.

Cheryl R. LeDuc was born May 25, 1940, in Devils Lake, N.D., and lived in Austin and Winona before moving to Rochester in the 1970s. On Sept. 14, 1979, she married Floyd Braaten in Rochester. Her husband is a farm worker.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Melindcq Braaten of Rochester; her mother, Mildred LeDuc of Rochester; a sister, Mernacq Hyham of California; and three brothers, Jim LeDuc of St. Paul, Paul LeDuc of Fountain and Dennis LeDuc of Austin. Her father preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ranfranz Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Wilmont officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Friends may call an hour before the service Monday at the funeral home.@et
