Milton Burgell Hull, 94, of Fort Worth, passed away January 11, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, January 18, 2021 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home with a visitation an hour prior to the service. The family asks that due to Covid-19 concerns, you please limit physical contact and wear a mask. Milton will be buried at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
He was born on December 26, 1926 in Vicksburg, MS to Sherman Cody and Laura (Oakes) Hull. He grew up in Vicksburg. Milton married Lillie Conley in 1955 in Fort Worth, and they were married for 57 years. Milton worked for the City of Fort Worth and retired in 1982. He was a member of South Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, watching western movies and talking about growing up along the Mississippi and Yazoo rivers.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lillie; sons, Columbus, Milton Jr., Joe and Steve; four sisters; and a brother.
Milton is survived by his son, Charles; granddaughters, Liz Hull and Laura Reneman and husband, Shawn; grandson, Andrew Hull; daughter-in-law, Shelli Hull; brother, Sherman Hull and wife, Ollie; and several nieces and nephews.
