On November 17, 1925 Helen Heim and Alvin Zahner were united in marriage at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Alvin preceded her in death on March 21, 1956. Helen was employed at Wolf's Laundry Service in Sheboygan until retiring at the age of 60. She continued to work out of her home as a seamstress, well into her 80's.
Helen was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church and a former member of the Legion of Mary and the Christian Women's Society of the Parish.
Surviving Helen are her Son, Marvin (Gloria) Zahner of Sheboygan and her daughter, Mary Ann (Joseph) Druml of Menominee Falls; four grandchildren, Linda (Robert) Altmayer, James (Linda) Druml, Jack (Marie) Druml and Randall (Debbie) Zahner; eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by a grandson, Larry Zahner, four sisters and one brother.
Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
