Dewey always enjoyed spending time with his family - fishing out at Horseshoe Shoals, water skiing and cookouts on Wequaquet Lake, scalloping off Kalmus Beach, watching his sons play hockey at Kennedy Rink and soccer at the Barnstable High School fields.
In his later years, he enjoyed building birdhouses and doing yarn and embroidery work. If you stopped by for a visit, he was likely to give you one of his famous “mug rugs” or “yarn cats”, along with a smile and a hug.
Stuart was the loving husband of Irma (Allen) for 71 years, and beloved father of Ron, Don, Debbie (Dow) and Paul. He was predeceased by his son, Bruce, and his sister and two brothers, Audrey Cottle, Norman Williams and Kenneth Williams. He leaves behind nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many extended family and loved ones. He was the son of the late Lester and Florence (Bearse) Williams.
