Waltena was born August 11,1931 on her family's farm near Bison, Oklahoma to Pearl and Walter Crosson. In 1954, her family introduced her to Leo E. Aaron, her future husband. They married November 5, 1955.
Waltena is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 65 years, Leo; and her children: Mark (Kelli) Aaron, Brenda (Nick) Warehime; her grandchildren: Derek (Kelly) Warehime, Jake (Brandy) Warehime, Jennifer Gibson; and great-grandchildren, Kaysen, Kylee, and Miller Warehime. Her daughter, Kim Gibson, preceded her in death.
Leo was enlisted in the United States Air Force, so Leo and Waltena relocated often. The couple settled in Bethany, Oklahoma in 1971.
Waltena enjoyed traveling, league bowling, visiting with her neighbors, and daily walks. She was very friendly and never met a stranger.

Funeral arrangements are by Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany, Okla. www.mercer-adams.com. Viewing will be Thursday, January 14, 2021. Family graveside service will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Oklahoma City on January 15, 2021 at 2 pm.
