Mona Frances Bratton of Jonesboro, gained victory on December 16, 2020 as she reached out and took the hand of Jesus in the quest for wholeness. This gentle, loving, caring and wonderful woman has left a permanent mark on our hearts and she will be supremely missed. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She loved quilting, ceramics, singing and had a compassion for dogs and cats. She was a member of Finch Baptist Church but most recently attended Nettleton Baptist Church until her health failed.

Born April 4, 1933 in Bear Creek, AR to Myrt and Sally Bohannon, she was the youngest of 10 children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy M. Bratton; daughter, Phyllis Easley Schantz; brothers, Vernon, Willie, Howard and Joe; sisters, Modene, Berlene and Vaudie; son-in-law, Randy M. Toombs; and the father of her children, Duane Easley.

Survivors include her daughters, Ann Toombs and Sheree Easley of Jonesboro; stepson, Billy Lynn (Debbie) Bratton of Rimrock, AZ; stepdaughters, Kay Lentz of Branson, MO and Sandi Flora of Blytheville, AR; her treasured grandchildren, C.W. (Katie) Toombs of Jonesboro, Cari (Jason) Warfe, Molly Schantz of Oklahoma City, OK, Emily (Dave) Boclair of Silver Spring, MD and Hope Bratton (Kevin Chessman) of Phoenix, AZ; great grandkids, Avery Toombs, Jacie, Carlie and Ava Warfe and Reilly Chessman; and her sisters, Maye (Homer) Webb of Burdette and Hazel Taylor of Marshall.

Chapel services will be 6 pm Sunday evening at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with David King officiating. Burial will be 1 pm Monday at the Bear Creek Cemetery outside of Marshall, AR with her nephew, Roy Ragland officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 pm until the time of service.

Pallbearers will include J.B. Moore, Donald Ragland, Doyle Ragland, Donnie Ragland, James Schantz, C.W. Toombs, Jason Warfe and Kenny Lovins.

The body will be lying in repose Saturday evening from 3-5 pm at the funeral home for those wanting to sign the book. No family will be present at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests lasting memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter, 8180 Greensboro Drive, Suite 400. McLean, VA 22102.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
