Joyce was born in Frankston, TX on March 2, 1935 to Heron Oran and Ethel Mae Rainwaters.
Joyce retired from the Oil and Gas Industry and spent much of her retirement at her retreat in Cloudcroft, New Mexico.
Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter Wanda Kruse, her brother Oran Rainwaters of Springdale, AR, and sisters Jean Oliver of Malakoff, TX and Mary Toon of Midland, TX.
Survivors include her son, Robert Simpson and wife Joanna of Amarillo. Granddaughter, Tosha Villegas and husband Chris and great-grandchildren Maddox and Nolan, Granddaughter Amber Hester and husband Matt and great-grandchildren, Beckham, Isla and Brody.
