KEEDYSVILLE - Esther Pauline Sweeney, 62, of 19372 Burnside Bridge Road, died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at her home.
Born Feb. 26, 1934, in Shepherdstown, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Harry Allen and Mary Elizabeth Clemons Breeden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howell Sweeney, in 1976.
She retired after 25 years with Londontown Corp., Boonsboro.
She was a member of Christ Evangelical Reformed Church, Shepherdstown.
She is survived by two daughters, two sons, four sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Loyal H. Vanderveer will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
