Ruth Irene Weber, 85, died at her home in Yakima on Thursday, April 13, 2006.
She was born in Irwin, Iowa on March 4, 1921 to Fred and Margaret Bargenquast. She graduated from Shelby Consolidated High School on May 12, 1938. She married John Henry Weber in Yakima on December 23, 1941. Ruby worked on the family ranch and for local warehouses. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, going to yard sales and collecting.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Weber of Yakima; a sister Margaret Van Horne of Tennessee, two brothers, Roy Bargenquast of Council Bluffs, Iowa nad Leo Bargenquast of Avoca, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis John Weber on January 3, 1994 and four brothers, Elmer, Otto, Frank, Fritz Bargenquast and two sisters, Viola Snyer and Leona Schichling; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19 at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Concluding services and burial will follow at Tamhoma Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Keith & Keith Terrace Heights Reception Center. If desired, memorial contributions in Ruth's memory may be made to Memorial Hospice.
