Ernestine Abrams, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Four Winds Nursing Home.
Born in Jackson, Ohio February 16, 1917 to the late Tom and Effie (Graham) Metzler, She was married on Dec. 14, 1946 in Jackson County, Ohio to Orville Abrams, who preceded her in death in 1990.
A homemaker, Mrs. Abrams work as a legal secretary for about 45 years.
She is survived by daughter, Becky (Jerry) Alshire of Wellston; son, Robert Abrams of Jackson; five grandchildren; plus nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Orville "Bob" Abrams; and one sister, Louise Cribben.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 13, at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the funeral home.
