Leslie Alice Andrews, PhD, age 76, of Hoschton ran into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.

Dr. Andrews was born September 7, 1944 to the late Charles Wesley & Alice Marie Andrews Kikta of Atlanta, GA. She is survived by her siblings, Steven & Connie Andrews of Lilburn, William R. & Mary Andrews of Ormond Beach, Florida, Jerry M. & Lauri Andrews of Ormond Beach, Florida, R. Mark Andrews, Sr. of Lilburn, and Hope & Phillip Burdett of Hartwell and nine nieces & nephews.

Dr. Andrews was a faithful servant to her Savior, Jesus Christ and tirelessly devoted her life to teaching and training those in ministry. Retired from Asbury Theological Seminary, her roles were numerous including Dean of the Doctor of Ministry Program, Dean of Academic Development, Vice President for Academic Development and Distributed Learning, Vice Provost, and Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. She also served as Professor of Pastoral Leadership. Following retirement and remaining faithful to her purpose, Dr. Andrews was a consistent witness and testimony to her family; she continued ministering to those that crossed her threshold and loved generously all those that assisted in her care.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Camp Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilburn. Rev. John Batusic will officiate. According to CDC Guidelines, masks and social distancing is requested. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Great Commission Fund of The Christian and Missionary Alliance (cmalliance.org) would be welcomed.
