Mary Emogene Osborn, a homemaker and life-long resident of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away on January 11th, 2021 at the age of 83 years old.

Mary is survived by her sister, Gerri; children Eugene, Tom, and Gerri; and her grandchildren Elizabeth, Ryan, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Brian, as well as multiple great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband Edward Eugene Osborn; her grandson, Michael; her brother, Tom; her mother, Pauline; and her father Tom.

Mary was born in Ada on June 23rd, 1937 to Pauline Martin and Tom Martin.  She graduated from the Del City High School and married her high school sweetheart Edward Eugene Osborn, the brother of her best friend Cybil. She welcomed three children, whom she loved dearly, who were the most important part of her life.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed collecting Noah’s ark ceramics and volunteered her time with the PTA. She loved going to church for worship and fellowship. Her favorite pass time was socializing with her family, friends, and befriending anyone that she came across. Her assertive nature and warmth invited many people to know and love her. Her laugh was infectious and full of life, and she was known to have ticklish feet. She told stories of her life with a grand flourish and held those memories in the highest regard all the days that she lived, especially her memories of her husband and their life together. She was a spiritual woman who loved God, and she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on January 15th, 2021 at the Kolb Cemetery on North Midwest Blvd. Preacher Phillip Jones will officiate. Flowers and condolences may be offered at Absolute Economical Funeral Home 7721 NW 10th St STE B, Oklahoma City, OK 73127
