Jesus welcomed into Heaven His good and faithful servant, Mary Ella Agin, age 73, of Eaton, OH. She passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at home. She was born January 13, 1948 in Gladwin, MI to the late Landa and Mary (Stern) Mishler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Denny Agin; her brother, Bob (Ann) Mishler; her brother, Jim (Violet) Mishler, and her brother-in-law, Don Shaffer. She is survived by her children, Maria (Jeff) Wilson; Susie (Kipp) Planck; Kristen Agin; and Adam (Annie) Agin; grandchildren, Ellie (Curry) Turnbull; Abe Luckey; Sophie (Austin) Hutchison; Evan Planck; Annie Planck; Gwen Planck; great-grandchildren, Jack and Ivy Turnbull; brother, Dick (Carolyn) Mishler; sister, Nancy Shaffer; brother-in-law, and Gary (Laurie) Agin. Mary Ella was a singer, storyteller, writer, and drama director. She shared her gifts at many churches and with her Mary Kay Cosmetics family. She was a bright light in her loved-ones' lives. She was an encourager, a good listener, and gave sage advice. Mary Ella was a supportive and loving mom to her children and grandchildren. No matter the circumstance, she always had faith in God. In her own words, Mary Ella wrote, “In all things, thank the Father. In all things, praise the Lord. In all things, you’ll find His love for you.” The family will receive friends and family from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m., on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Eaton First Church of God, 601 East Lexington Road, Eaton, OH. A graveside service will follow at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Girton Schmidt and Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
