Three children born to this union: Sophia Ann (b. 1887); Oscar (b. 1890); Daisy Dean (b. 1893). She married second to Horace W. PROVOW on 30 December 1897 in Carroll Co., Tenn. Two children born: Frank (b. 1898); Verlie Mae (b. 1901). Inscription on tombstone: Age 37 .....

Obituary published in The Hickman Courier, Hickman, Fulton CO, KY on September 14, 1906, p. 5, as follows:
Mrs. W. E. Provo, age 38 years, died at her home in West Hickman Tuesday, September 11. The remains were taken to Mansfield, Tennessee for burial. She leaves a husband and three small children to mourn her loss. The Courier extends sympathy.
