Addison Eugene Owens Jr, 64, passed away in East Hartford, CT on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic a traditional funeral service is not feasible at this time. A private viewing, limited to 3-5 minutes, will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Woody "Home For Services," 163 Oakwood Ave., Orange, N.J. Funeral service will follow immediately at 11 a.m. for the immediate family due to restrictions. Interment is at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, N.J.
Born in Newark, NJ, Eugene was a resident of Connecticut for more than 40 years. Eugene was a devoted husband of Beverly Jean (Staton) Owens, loving father of sons Robert Eugene Owens, Rasheen Hearst and Darnell Alford, beloved son of Viola Ann Owens Clark, dear brother of Stacey (Rhonda) Owens, and Annette Christine Owens. He is also survived by 3 stepchildren (Shondra, Trumaine and Walter), 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
