He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Abner, a son-in-law, Dennis Butler, a grandson, Brian Roberts, and a brother & sister-in-law, Bill & Marilyn Abner.
Roy retired from Koneta Rubber Co., Wapakoneta. He was a member of Christian Victory Tabernacle, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, both of Wapakoneta. Roy loved listening to Christian music, fishing, spending time with his family, and going to the Lucky Steer to eat.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Mon. Jan. 25, 2021, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, with Revs. Bill Prater and David Mowery officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive family & friends from 10 a.m. until time of the service, Mon. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Activity Fund at Otterbein-St. Marys. Condolences may be expressed at www.eleyfuneralhomeandcrematory.com.
