Doris Driver Kirby passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 92. Born in Stockbridge, GA, she lived most of her life in Atlanta, retired to Daytona Beach, then lived the last chapter of her life in Buford, GA.

She was the daughter of Charles Jefferson and Ruby Glass Driver of Stockbridge. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Richard Reuben Kirby and her brothers, Roy, Joe and Jimmy Driver. She is survived by her sister, Mary Carleen (Betty) McDaniel; children, Richard Wayne Kirby and Carleen Kirby Corry; son-in-law, Dr. Larry Corry; grandchildren, Sandra Gerald (Ron), Kenny Corry (Amanda Sinclair), Geoffrey Corry, and Tara Bubenheim (Jeff); great-grandchildren, Rachel, Anna and Lily Gerald, Bodie Corry, and Charlie and Kirby Ann Bubenheim.

Doris was employed as an office manager for Southern Clay Pipe Institute and also, by the Public Health Service at the time it became the EPA.

She was an Episcopalian.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Henry Funeral Home in Lithonia, GA, at 1:00 pm, followed by the service at 2:00 pm, with burial following in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection Building Fund, 3676 Hwy 20 NE, Conyers, GA 30012.
