Mr. Dempse Bell, one of Montgomery county's oldest citizens, died at his home near Kilmichael Monday evening at 8 p. m. Funeral services were held at Nations Baptist church, the Rev. N. G. Hickman saying the last rites. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bell is survived by T. M. Bell, Kilmichael; C. A. Bell, Belzoni; Mrs. Ollie Boatman, Kilmichael, C. M. Bell, Kilmichael; and Mrs. Ethel Jackson, of Doddsville.
The deceased was a Confederate and had made his home in Montgomery County for years.
