He was born 12 Jan 1903, Myrtle Point,OR. - d. 16 Jul 1935, Sawtelles Veterans Hospital, West Los Angeles,CA. He was the son of George Bernard Adams(1875-1959) & Iva May Barklow(1880-1922), two Oregon natives.
Elza had married less than two years earlier, 29 May 1933, Vancouver,Clark Co.,WA., Alice Evelyn LaMarr,b.1913,Eureka,Humboldt Co.,CA, d/o Albert E.(a minister) & Estella LaMarr. Elza and his father were loggers, as were so many people in and around Myrtle Point, Coquille and Powers.

Elza B Adams married Evelyn Alice (LaFrenier). She 1st married Edward Secanti July 7, 1926. In 1930 census she is listed as Evelyn A. La Franier living with her father George H. La Frenier and is divorced.
May 29, 1933 she is listed on a marriage certificate as Alice Evelyn La Marr, maiden name La Frenier. Her Father George La Frenier is a witness. Mother's maiden name is Minnie Wood. I'm finding several last names (in Soc Sec and am still researching Evelyn Secanti, Pray & Morgali White).
She signed her name -Alice Evelyn La Marr.
I've been researching Elza B Adams & his wife Alice Evelyn (LaFrenier) LaMarr. Her maiden name was LaFrenier, her second marriage was to Elza. At that time her name was LaMarr. Her father, George H LaFrenier attended and signed as a witness. His wife Minnie attended.
The information provided by David Bartlow about her parents is incorrect, she wasn't maiden name LaMarr, marriage documents showing this attached-he was widowed, she was divorced.
