Danny Ray “Dan” Anderson, age 64 of Plum Run, Mannington, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Monongalia General Hospital. He was born September 26, 1956 in Waynesburg, PA a son of the late William Pearl Anderson and Helen Lucille Rebold Anderson.
Dan was employed by WVDOH in Mannington. He retired from WV Laborers Local #379 in Morgantown with 33 years and had also worked for Foster Wheeler Energy Services. He enjoyed watching western shows and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vicky Anderson of Mannington with whom he married on October 10, 1986; four sisters, Janet (Jack) Brumage of Pentress, Debbie Anderson of Fairmont, Charlotte (Bob) Saunders of Fairmont, and Nancy Wilson of Jakes Run; several nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved; and his dog Toby.
In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by a sister, Dianna Tennant and his brothers Bill, Gus and Bob Anderson.
There will be no visitation or services as cremation was chosen as the final method of disposition. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
